    What are these??

    I got a dozen of chicks from a friend( he hatched them for someone and they never picked them up) Im not sure but they look like barred rocks? We ar far from chicken farmers but the kids love them and thats why we keep them. Thanks

    To be honest im not sure what type half of them are. We had some game birds and the kids loved them, so one day when i was picking up feed i seen them and the guy gave me a great deal on them. He is a huge boy, i will get some better pics this weekend. The coop is 25x14, the run part is 16x14

    Im not sure yet. Ive been looking at the plans and im not sure what i want to build yet. I made a trough style feeder, but i will try a pipe style.

    Thanks everyone. Jsr-the coop is 25 x14. I think we have 21 chickens in it right now. All the 4x4s are 2 ft deep and they are all old fence post, the back of the coop and side have reused fence boards on them(1x6x16) which they are pt. I got most the fence parts from around the house.     New from Central Florida

    Im Mike and i live in lakeland fl, here with my wife and 3 kids. We have a handful of different chickens(23 i think) We get all different color eggs but no white one.We have a few acres and we do alittle bit of everything. We been looking at the site for about a month and finally joined.
