On several fronts! Today DH and I were driving around and scored three HUGE 48 x 48 boxes!! Look behind Office Depot! Who would have thunk it?
I was toying with the idea of taping several smaller boxes together, but he wouldnt give up. (Oh by the way DH in this case is Darling Hunk he...
It did! Here are the babies... there are about 8 each... little yellow ones , chipmunk looking striped ones, and red/orange ones. One chocolate brown and one black. I think the black one is the rare free one... I have no idea what breed they are, I got the rinbow layers... and really who...
they came!!!
I got a call before 6:30 this morning from the PO (those wonderful souls!)
One little girl (90% sure it's a girl) was kind of lethargic, but after a few drops of sugar water, she perked up and started eating and drinking.
I had to leave for work, but thr BF will check on them...

Newspaper is out! I will put paper towels in this afternoon. I didn't think about the slippery part... I leave the papertowels (cleaned) for two or three days?

Yesterday I set up the brooder, a 4x4x2 wooden box. 3 inches of pine shavings, layer of newspaper for the first few days. A 250 watt IR...
