roo's crest and waddle suddenly pale
I just noticed today that my 2 month old red booted bantam roo's waddle and crest has gone very pale. It was always bright red...What would cause this? Is there anything I can do if it is a problem? The other red booted male's crest and waddle are still bright red. They are still on grower feed...- MimiB

anyone have any guesses? They are a little over 6 weeks old. The one red one is starting to act like a roo. He chases the grackles that come into our yard and puffs out his chest. It is so cute! What do you all think? Was I right in thinking I only have 1 bantam pullet and the other 4 are roos...- MimiB

Stay at home Mom new to chickens
You know how under breeds it will say for example 5 people have 4 people want and 1 person had... how do I list what I have? I know that I have 2 buff orpingtons...not sure what my 3 white pullets are and I have 5 booted bantams....I would like to list them. Any help would be appreciated!- MimiB

when I look at the date and assume that they were about a day old when I got them then they would be about 6 weeks and 1 day old.- MimiB

TSC sold me different Breeds????? FYI cuteness overload
The lighter ones look like my Buff Orpingtons did when I first got them. Here is a picture of my girls with a (I think, not 100% sure) leghorn pullet. We got ours on March 11th so they are about 1 month and 11 days old.- MimiB

I have 5 bantams (my black and white one did not make it.) I am only sure that one is female because her comb is practically non existent and it is not as red as the other 3.
