I had my 1st 5 EGG day!!!!! They have been laying for about 3 weeks, but one of my EE laid one egg and then stopped laying for 13 days. They are all laying well now and finally all laid on the same day!!! 5 hens......5 eggs!!!!! Wooooooo Hooooooo!!!!

I got 4, 3 brown and a pretty little blue one, from my 5 newly laying hens!!

ZERO.....5 PULLETS......Still waiting for my first egg ever!!!!! I have a BA & RIR that are 20.5 wks and a BR and 2 EE that are 19 wks. I check every day...nothing yet!!!

Love to hear all the great names!! I am new to the chicken world, I have 5 backyard chicks. They are all between 12 - 14 weeks. I have a theme with my names also...flowers. Rosy - BA, Marigold - RIR, Buttercup - EE, Petunia - EE, Poppy(seed) - BR. They don't have a clue that they have names...

I am new at this and do not have my first egg yet...but, i have been told between 5 - 6 months. My chicks were hatched at the end of April and 1st of May, so I have a little time to wait still. I have a RIR, 2-EE'S, BA & BR. Hope this helps.
