Hi you might want to try putting a golf ball or fake ball into the nesting box and make sure you are using a comfortable bedding. I use hay/straw. Once one lays in it the others are bound to. You also might want to look online on youtube or something because they have good tips. Hope I helped!
Ok so my chicken is just a year old she is a partridge plymouth rock. All of a sudden i noticed that there where not any feathers on her breast bone. It is the beginning of september. Also i haven't been getting as many eggs as usual! Is she molting? What is happening? Please help?
no!! don't give her bread!!! I took my chicken to the vet for sour crop and the vet said that the infection is caused by bacteria back up and yeast only makes it worse!! We tried giving her bread and oil and the vet said it was the worst thing to do!!
I have found that my 4 buff orpingtons really like strawberrys and apples and any kind of vegetables. We give them most of our table scraps and they seem to eat all of them.
