Hello, so we discovered yesterday that our elderly (15yr old) Great Pyrenees has worms. Vet believes he either got them from a tick or the neighbors free range cats. He is medicated, and hopefully will not have an allergic reaction. Is there a chance the chickens could get them too? They are...
Hi everyone, this is our first time ever with chickens. I’ve been learning a lot from you all. We have 3 EE and 3 Buff Orpington pullets. They are 8-9 weeks old now. One of the BOs has always been puffy, she was the fuzziest chick. She’s puffed up 24/7. She’s eating, growing...
My 7/8 week old chickies were out in their pen today and I noticed an odd poop. It looks like wet sawdust. Is this something I need to treat? I’m brand new to chickens. It was a pior, I used a stick to look at it and spread it out.
They’re 7/8 weeks old now. I’m hoping they’re still pullets. Any information on why you believe Pullet or Roo is helpful. I’m brand new and trying to learn as much as I can. Thank you!

Thank you! We’re brand new to chickens So there’s a learning curve. Now I’m reading all the stories About asking for pallets and getting some cockerels. I’m hoping we have all pullets, as only hens are allowed in my area And my kids are in love with them all.
