Nice coop and run Sacrifice. My new run is planned to be like yours and you just gave me the solution for the union of the wall (vertical )and the roof (curved). Is it PVC or metal made?
Thank you and regards fron Spain

mjohnston, yes we mean to freeze them to ice. Hannahkat wrote awhile back that when she thawed out the worms they looked like fresh unfrozen. However within a few hours, they turn black. I think that the trick is to feed as soon as thawed.
Welcome to the thread. We were in Madrid in...
Sure somebody made this question before but I missed the answer. When you write about freezing the worms you mean" taking them to ice" or just coolling them down to slow their metabolism?
Thanks and regards from Spain
Hello..
I read somwhere that wood ashes (from the fireplace) help to prevent parasites in our chickens. I use to throw them at my backyard eventually as fertilizer and now muy hens are dust bathing there.
Could be any problem whit it?

After reading all the topics I got to the conclusion of preparing an emergency set ( a sandwich, clean underwear, a pair of socks.... ) and leave it inside the coop. Just in case
I used to work outside all year along. In summer time I used to to put my plastic jar, filled 3/4, in the freezer the night before. In the morning I filled the rest of the water, and this would last cold for several hours. Now I do the same with my chicken waterers. Just take care you don´t it...
I think this will be the reason. When I let them free range on my backyard they would kick each other trying to get first to the dog bowl though their feeder is just refilled.
Thanks from Spain.
Hello¡¡
Can anybody tell me:
How long do chickens lay eggs?
Why my chickens prefer dog food (dry) better than chicken food (almost grinded different seeds).
Thank you all
