My chicks love mario worms, every time i open the hatch Betty especialy jumps to me waiting for me to give them some. We tried giving them corn but they arent interested. I tried spagetti today (plain) and they seamed to like it. (They probable like it because it looks like worms)

Regarding the worms. Can I freeze them in summner time, to be able to use them for feeding in winter? (It doen´t sound very compassionate, sorry)

Hi, This is Jayceys other half.
Mario worms are actually Morio worms lol she was nearly right.

they are sometimes called super mealworms.

wax worms are a completly different worm. leopard geckos love these, but they can become addicted and wont eat anything else, they are also very fatty but good as a treat, not sure if it would be the same for chickens????

Im not too sure why you would want to freeze Morios untill winter? they can be purchased all year round online or in most reptile shops. and as with most things they will be more nutritionally beneficial Live rather than frozen.

hope this helps.
