I currently have 3 1yr old RIR hens and recently added 4 EE and 4 NHR which are 6 weeks old. Temperatures at night are around 67-72 and during the date 75-85. I have the pullets in a fenced in area near the coop so the hens can see them and have been doing this every day for about 2 weeks...

I have lost 3 hens in 6 months! Each time it's when I can't get home to lock up the coop. There is no evidence of an attack, I just notice one missing each time! I want them to free range and feel bad when I leave them in the coop a day or more. They pace back and forth in front of the door...
I am sad to say that on Saturday when I locked the coop for the night I found that I am missing a hen:( I checked the entire yard the next morning and there is no evidence of battle or anything. Hoping she will turn up in the next few days. Anyone have this happen? She was my friendliest hen...
So of my 6 RIR pullets only 1 is laying! She has been laying every day starting at 19 weeks! They are all now 21 weeks and none of the others stated laying! When will my other girls start to lay?
