Thanks for the advice! I kinda thought there was nothing I could do, but I thought I would ask anyway. I don't think I'm gonna go out and spend $250 on an incubator, but I will go to The Tractor Supply and spend $45 on the one they have. Thanks again!- mlwtbzj

Hens not setting on their eggs...?
I have two Silkie hens that are laying eggs but will NOT set on them. I have left them in the pen hoping that they would get the hint, but so far nothing. Does anyone have any advice as to what I could do to get them to set on their eggs?- mlwtbzj

The pen wasn't used for any other animals. Just the baby ducks mom and dad. Mom and dad got a new pen and the babies got their old on. I don't think the food was medicated and she keeps the food and water in with them all the time. The weather has been way colder than usual, but she winterized... -

Yes, I ment PEN...The pen is wooden and totally closed in with great ventilation. They are 4 months old, on chick starter, wormed, and acting fine last night. Drinking, quaking, and eating. She just found them dead. -
