I am noticing a little of the liking the ones that look like them the most from at least some of mine. But you have more sets then me so that is interesting that you see some of that too.

I have not officially thought of what the definition of sport pony is but in my mind it was the ponies who are athletic and bred to do athletic things versus just for what they looked like e.g. showing in halter classes...
I also have my first flock and my oldest pullet just started laying eggs. So even in hot weather if I don't know how long the egg was out it sounds like there is not problem since the bloom is on the egg.

I know someone who tries to name chicken-inspired names like Eggnog, Bo Peep, Clucker. You can get a bunch of people together and even if they don't own chickens, they can be very inspired to come up with very interesting chicken-inspired names, lol.
Seems like many cities are open to chickens, up to a certain small number in the city, it is the roosters that are not allowed.
While I was thinking of getting chickens for the last year or so, I was surprised by how many people in every city you can imagine in the Bay Area that have them...
