    So my chicks range from 2-3 months and I've got 5. I've been putting kitchen scraps out like bread, spaghetti, corn, pumpkin pulp seeds and skin, apple, bananna etc and they really only seem to eat the corn, bread and maybe spaghetti.     Hubby made a tray which I've put on a little square table with a crate on its side . Both have hay.

    Can they ramps be made out of thick wire square mesh? I'm using a warmer mesh bit from my BBQ as a ladder for them to climb up? Will a mesh ladder hurt their feet?

    Rhode Island Red x Black Australorps

    Our local pet shop sells this breed of chicken for egg layers. We just got 2 chicks. They are lovely so far at 3 weeks. Loveable. Cant wait till they start filling out and getting proper feathers etc.
