One observation I made while taking care of the neighbors chickens that I haven't seen while taking care of mine is mice! I know we have had droppings from mice in our storage box on the deck but I've not physical seen any. Having our chicken feed in a treadle feeder helps keep mice out of your feeder! Ours is from rent a coop & it's been fantastic for over 2 years. Thankful for no mice infestation!

Taking care of my neighbors flock for the next 9 days. Don't tell my flock but I shared some of their favorite treats with the neighbors flock. They like Organic Raw Roots Farm treats just as much as my flock!

Did I tell y'all we got 2 Easter Egger chicks & 2 Barred Rock chicks in March? All 4 are pullets & are 14 weeks old this week.

We started building a second coop. It's bigger than my first coop. I believe our first coop is 4×8 & the second is 6 or 8 ×12!
