I'm doing well! Fall is come finally! Well, at least the weather has. We still have green leaves and grass everywhere haha. I've been letting my peas out for a few hours each day and they're loving it so much.

I like spring too, but I like the cooler months the best I'm doing fine, you? We haven't gotten any rain in I don't know HOW long!! Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you. Yesterday morning my flock was out ranging and I was watching them through a window inside and they all suddenly started flapping and clucking and running towards the coop and the bushes. I ran out and found out a hawk had attacked them. Thankfully, I counted them all and they are now fine. That just scared me a lot, and that is the first time that has happened. Anyway, you have a marvelous day too! *HUGS*

Wow, that is cool! We have some White tail deer around our area but definitely no elk! I know, your telling me! I almost cried when I found her!! Man! That is scary!! That is ONE brave hen you've got there!
I love fall and winter, what is your favorite season?
I know, my hens are molting too and Muffin my EE is usually very sweet and kind but she won't let me hold her and is always running from me Oh well, only 2 or 3 more weeks and (hopefully) she'll finish her molt.

Awesome! So you just have elk that come up to your house and hang out? Cool!! My flock is good, do you remember what happened to my hen a few months ago (the coyote attack)? Well yesterday afternoon I couldn't find Muffin my EE. I searched and searched and my brothers even helped. We looked for about half an hour and still couldn't find a feather. After my brothers went inside I went back out and went to pick up one of my Leghorn's and I saw Muffin asleep in the woods. I was so shocked and happy!! I put her back with the rest of the chickens and I'm keeping a close eye on her. So how are your chickens? Has it gotten cold where your at? It has been VERY windy here (and cold, last night it got down to like 40 something degrees). Sorry for such a long message, have a great Sunday sis! *HUGS*
