  • Oh how cool....a lodge!! If I didn't have so many critters to manage, I would definitely take you up on the offer! We are up here at 7,000 feet in the mountains. Not enough rain this year. Last year we had so many forest fires, drought is killing the forests, really really dry. Not much snow this past winter either! Hoping for a good rainy season. Enjoy your territory...Colorado is a gorgeous place! I visited Durango a few years back and WOW, just gorgeous!!
Yes, up in the mountains we have lots of Elk. I have always wanted to go the the Rocky Mtn. Nat'l. Park, but I have never gotten up there! Sounds very pretty. Have you been getting enough rain up there? We are in a pretty severe drought down here south of you.
Well, I am keeping my fingers crossed that your Rosie doesn't turn into a Robby!
Oh, and great Elk picture! We have them here down in this valley too. Very majestic creatures. Very pretty pic! :-)
Oh how great your babies are doing well and have worked into the flock!! I was wondering how they were doing. :-) My babies turned 6 weeks old this week. Yay! They are doing very well and are getting used to the routines of roosting at night, hanging out in their enclosure in the run, treats time, etc... All is very well. Can't wait for them to grow up so I can mix them in like you have yours. Extra work for me now, but they are so worth it! :-)
