1) You could try hitting it with an airsoft rifle but that really wont do much( I tried it before with one but it continued to come around) it might get the message and leave you alone eventually though

When I was trapping I always just used some sort of urine lure,But since your not out in the middle of the woods trapping it.I would do what the above person recommended and use a live chicken placed where it cant get it.
Get something chambered in .22 if your just looking for critter control. If your wondering which company to buy from, just about every companies pretty good unless your looking for improved accuracy but with a "critter control" gun I wouldn't worry about too much.
Just so it can heal I'd apply a antibiotic ointment such as Neosporin and just a band-aid wrapped around the toe and if their pecking at it their are different sprays ointments and goos you can get to apply so the other birds won't peck at it one that I've heard good things about is Blu-Kote.
Ive been looking for some hatcheries to order meat birds from in the spring and stumbled on hoovers hatchery has anyone had good luck with them?
Were the meat birds good as far as feed conversion and growth?

They should be fine as they have already met the bird. Their are also the people who separate the broody and just put the bird back in the coop with no problems.
