    No I think that is a pretty good deal. I pay about $6 per 5 lbs but it is prepackaged. My local feed store does not carry bulk oyster shell.

    Dip your finger in water and stick it in chick feed. The feed will stick to your finger and they will come and pick it off. They love it even though they have a whole dang feeder of it.
