    Large scale growth on leg!

Hello, I need help. One of my hen chickens has a scale growth I can't identify. It looks like a spur, and she is otherwise acting normal. It is hard and not sensitive, but seems too round and big. The other leg is fine. Can someone identify and tell me what to do?

My Chickens Stay Mostly in the Coop

The top of the coop where it slants up on both sides is covered with fine wire allowing for air flow. They can see out (because when we peek in they peak back). I agree it isn't predator proof, but we live in the middle of a small town surrounded by houses, busy street, and not next to a forest...

My Chickens Stay Mostly in the Coop

The owl is on the other side of the patio facing the neighbor's yard beyond visibility of the side facing into the yard. My wife thinks they may just be bored and quickly lose interest in whatever is put in the run.

My Chickens Stay Mostly in the Coop

They have been in the coop and run for about three weeks, and had no problem the first two weeks. It is a white vinyl fence around the whole back yard with no open slats about 5 foot 7 inches. The neighbors dogs are relatively calm and behind their own fences. The chickens do not act scared or...

My Chickens Stay Mostly in the Coop

For a few days now my 7 chickens have remained inside the coop and not coming down to the run most of the day. I don't understand why. None of them seem sick. I can coax them out for a few minutes to eat some snacks, but they will go right back in. A robin did try and build a nest in the yard...
