    I have been dying to post some photos of my ladies, my facebook friends just don't appreciate the whole love of chickens. It seems so hard to get a photo without the other breeds in it, they huddle together constantly!

    I sew for my business (small thing on the side) but I love it. I have started the task of making a baby quilt for each of my pregnant friends, it seemed easy enough until they kept going and I now have a quilt to make for each baby (one a month) from now until January.

    I have cancer

    I feel for you, my husband has been fighting colon cancer for over four years now, since the same month our first son was born. It has progressed from stage 3 to stage 4 but we keep the faith, if you ever need someone to chat with about treatments just let me know, we have seen so many!

    I know how you feel. Mine are now out in their run and I peek out the window like a stalker. I also shake my head at chicken math. Sent my husband to the feed store for food, he comes home with more chicks. It doesn't stop!

    My 6 week old chicks are outside now, I am also in Missouri, I did bring them in when we had that tornado a few days ago, but beyond that it hasn't been too cold for them here.
