Here are my first three in a artsy picture! A brown (from my red hen I took in last week), a white from who knows who, and what I would call a pink from one of my EEer's (and I suspect it's the girl who's been flirting with me for a few days). I am still waiting for my green and blue eggs!

My Penny still hasn't started laying again since her Roo man died. It's been several weeks now. Should I be worried or could she be mourning?? I'm starting to worry!

My 20/22 week old Barred Rock laid her first egg Monday and one every other day since. They are small, good shell thickness, perfect shape, light brown. She is a little on the small side. I wonder if she and her eggs will get any bigger?

My salmon faverolle Bacon laid an egg today, I assume it was her since she was squatting and clucking all morning.

First time raising chickens.....This is our 1st egg. My RIR layed this at 18 weeks. Still waiting for my other 5 to start earning their keep! lol

My chickies are 23 weeks old. A few of the have been laying for about 2 weeks.

This morning I opened the egg door and actually watched one of my Barred Rocks lay an egg! Now I have proof that Edith is laying!

Strangley, my Easter Egger was sitting quietly in a nest box. I closed the door and came back to find her first bluish green egg! So proud!
