I know it is just gonna muddle the question more, but I have chocolate and white muscovys that started off dark brown and yellow. I have buff and white, tan and white, chocolate and white, grey and white, plus the traditional black and white- all pure bred. IMHO, judging by the bills, these are...
Ok, so 2 odd ones out. I would say hen, carunkles aren't that developed yet, primaries are in, tail is fairly narrow, chest is fairly narrow and where is the mohawk? My drakes have broader tails, had carunkles coming in by 10 wks, and mohawks that make the neighbor's kid jealous LOL
The only thing mine has ever attacked has been the linoleum in the kitchen, kinda resembled the wrapping paper. She is black and white also, so maybe....... LMAO
I'm in, I have Black Bantam Cochins due on 12/24. Pray that they come out ok, incubator was acting up the first week in- wildly fluctuating temps. I still see moving embryos, so my fingers are crossed.
From what I can see, she was working in the chicken coop when her son fell in the pool. My heart goes out to her- I too have a child that I CAN NOT leave unattended to even check on my chickens. It means in my case that I have a 4 yr old who knows how to feed, water and check for eggs. But...
Honestly, it IS snuggled up under my shirt collar right now LOL. But I don't know if any one in my area is expecting chicks or has chicks right now. I have some due Christmas Eve, but the way this incubator has been I am not holding out hope of anyone hatching. Temp keeps fluctuating widely...
Due to incubator problems, I only had one chick hatch out of 24. It seems to be healthy, but tends to run around the brooder screeching it's head off instead of settling down to scratch, eat or drink. I have been making sure it gets water, but I can't force feed it.
Any suggestions? I have a...
I would totally be interested in the eggs.
My ideal would be Lt Brahma Standard, they are beautiful, stately, calm birds. They were my first and I am still in love with them.
I bought some over ebay from a lady in FL (no names) who told me that they were purebred Lt Standard, they are not...
In our pen we have 3 hens and a drake, They have a 30 gal black water trough as their "pond" , I free feed and they have a really large ex dog house as their coop. The pen is almost 8 ft wide and about 20 ft long, with 4 ft high sides.
Here is the issue, every morning when I go out to check...
Ok, I still haven't got this mastered but I am going to try. Here are adult Western Bullies:
This picture was taken last year. It is of Raz (my dearly missed one) and Baby.
This one was taken just before Baby started to show, less than a month ago.
That's just it, these guys look the same build wise and act the same personality wise- everytime I have bred them. And yes they are
an extremely loyal and brave, retriever and cattle dog all in one package.
They do make TERRIFIC Farm Dogs. My last one (died in an accident last year) herded...
