Is this poor woman one of us?

I COMPLETELY agree. The media always goes for the most negative spin possible, so they can sell more. Nobody is the perfect parent and accidents happen even when adults are WATCHING their kids.

I've never lost a child and had them get hurt right in front of my eyes !! Sometimes no matter how careful you are a tradgedy can happen. I can feel for this lady and hope they can sooner or later find some peace. One of our former neighbors had a two year old son who was an escape artist- Parents have to sleep sometimes and that little fella could figure out how to get out of the house every time. The parents always watched him as well as his older brother and sister. He still managed to get out and go visiting every body in the neighborhood. He loved my mother and called her Nana and would come and knock on the door early in the morning when he got out!! I'm sure this family is going though hell and and as far as asking for prayers- What else could she do? I'm gonna say prayers for her and her family.

I read miss Prissy's blog a few days ago and I do believe SHe follows this lady's blog or twitters.Miss Prissy commented on how sad this was for her and how she saw this in real time play out. I frequently read miss prissy's blog as I really enjoy it.I think when I read it she was NOt a close friend and I thought miss Prissy had said she ONLY followed her because of the chickens.Could someone find that and link it? And if I am 100% wrong I am sorry and certainly mean no disrespect.

From what I can see, she was working in the chicken coop when her son fell in the pool. My heart goes out to her- I too have a child that I CAN NOT leave unattended to even check on my chickens. It means in my case that I have a 4 yr old who knows how to feed, water and check for eggs. But still, blaming her for posting a Tweet while in her coop is ridiculous. Accidents DO happen, even to hyper viligant parents and my heart aches for her loss.

Poor woman. Poor FAMILY.

The media is always gonna hold a woman's feet to the fire. Always. If the child had been in the father's care & dad was working in his woodshop, the article would have been about the terrific rocking horse the dad was building & the tragedy that it will never be used. We are a mean, jugmental lot sometimes...
