THANK YOU!!
I believe we are POO FREE!!
Actually using my fingers to breakup and soften the poo worked. I had to pinch down on the clump a little, which he jumped, making me jump (and hurt for him) this seemed to do the tick!
When the ‘clump’ fell off he let a good long poop in my hand. Never...
I’ve read several articles about removing the poo and what not to do (stress them out or pull on the umbilical cord) but nothing seems to be working for this lil fella.
I have 4 bantams I bought from tractor supply 2 days ago. They seem good except for one. He tries his best to reach around and...
I purchased these three ducklings March 10th. These are my first ducks I’ve owned so I’m still learning... I’m not sure about the type or exact age. I’ve kept them together in a nice size pen in my laundry room. Clean it daily. They get warm baths, treats and as much loving as they will allow...
I have three.
They are so attached to each other. If I take one out, to move to the tub, the other two go nutts!!
One is almost twice the size as the other two. Although one seems to be growing MUCH slower then the other two. I got them from tractor supply and they couldn’t tell me much at all...
I’m thinking they look pretty young too!! They are just beginning to grow feathers. I think?? They have rough spots with stubs of little hairs. Starting to get that ‘pre teen’ look like I called my baby chicks ♂️
When you take them out, what do you put them in? My chicken coop is to big. They will eventually be living on a pond behind my house, but I want to be sure they can take care of themselves before introducing them to this.
They are fast and I’ll protect them as much as possible but they still...
As a new mom to raising ducklings, I’m looking for advice for my 1 month old ducks.. I’m guessing at the 1 mth age too!?!
What do I feed them? They love play time in the bath but should I begin to introduce them to the outside area?
I keep them in a small pin in my laundry room. Still keeping...
I bottle feed a two day old kitten that’s mama was hit by a car... I was the same way! He slept right beside me. If he sneezed I woke up to check on him!
Now he is big and would just LOVE to play with my baby ducks... so sleeping indoors isn’t a safe option for the lil peepers.
Thanks for...
They are precious!!
And yes that’s exactly what mine do... RUN!!
Although thinking back my chicks did the same thing. Now if they are running it’s to me! ❤️
I am able to pick one up now and she/he♀️ will sit in my hands just looking at me. But within a min or two the other two start chirping...
I purchased my first three ducklings a week ago. Since then I’ve learned SO much about raising ducks on this site but I’m still unsure about how to create friendly ducklings.
I sit with them around 1-2 hours a day, just talking to them, cleaning the area or going through my email.. just trying...
Good deal that’s what I was thinking from what I’d learned so far. I’ve raised chicks but never ducks. People were grabbing these guys like candy at the TS and I was going to be sure to do what I could to assure a good home for some.
