    Hen with broken leg - near hock.

    Glad she is feeling better. We have a hen that will not walk for fun just to move outside or to get feed and water. What should I do? I don't think it is mites because the other hens are fine and healthy.:/:hu

    It looks like parts of feed to me. Frost bite would hurt a lot and the chicken would go crazy with pain .

    I believe we have the common louse. All the symptoms point to the common louse and I don't know what to do. Please someone HELP!!!!!

    The beak should be fine. Just make sure she is eating and drinking, also keep clean. If the other chickens see blood they could do some damage.

    My hens have never had mites but you should Google it for Medication, but some good old DE should help to.

    No I don't think you should worry much gust make sure she can eat and drink. My girl had cross beak and was fine.

    It looks like a bad case scale mites to me.

    :fl Not another one. Now Annie is sick. She has a full crop and is drinking fine but is of balance. She will run then trip on her own feet and fall. I would give a picture but it would do no good I already looked her over she looks fine. If a picture would help I could take one tomorrow. :th
