Amazing what an old t-shirt did! The healthy hen I used to figure out where to cut the leg holes & strips for tying wasn't impressed. It took the help of a second person while tying her up. But I had the crate for a broody breaker, so it worked as an ASAP sling area.

Glad she is feeling better. We have a hen that will not walk for fun just to move outside or to get feed and water. What should I do? I don't think it is mites because the other hens are fine and healthy.:/

To everyone who was following this post, Sweetie passed away 7/25/15. She survived almost exactly 1 yr & 1 mth after she was found with a broken leg. There were no injuries, no wounds, so I'm thinking it could have been a bone infection? Maybe healing her leg took a lot out of the rest of her? Not sure, but she was a happy & friendly chicken until the end.
