    their area is very clean. She has no other symptoms but the gasping. I'm new to having chickens so when my last chicken died of what appeared to be the same thing,I had no idea what it was that caused it.

    I have a chicken that looks as if she is gasping for air. Is there anyone out there that knows what it might be. And if so what can I do about it.This happened before to another one of my girls and she died. I'm sure this will happen again if I don't find out what it is. Please help!!!!

    my Orpington who is the head of the yard still runs after the new birds after 5 weeks and I can''t get her to stop.They have a large free range area so that's not it. I hope this will stop soon because there is no way to separate them.I have to watch while the little ones eat so that mama...

    Anyone else not doing Christmas this year?

    My husband and I don,t even put up a tree any more. I paint my windows with winter scenes, such as snow man trees, sleds etc. Its fun and my way of decorating. If anyone has a problem with it I don't care. Thats the way I do it, Do it the way you enjoy, thats all that matters.

    I just put mine outside for the first time today with the temp. at 75 for the day in the run. they seem to be having fun.
