Would an Australorp be a rare straight run? I got ten rare straight run mix genders and ten hen babies.

I had a barred rock that had a bent beak. I talked to my Papa about it, he said that normally happens when the baby is new and the beak is still soft. My mom now has the barred rock and she does fine. I don't even think she notices.

Hello! The only reason I was thinking hen was I had another, same age, different breed, but looked way more like a roo (stance, very large comb, ect) . I am definitely not an expert though, and am fairly new to raising my own flock. So, I am very happy to hear what y'all think!

Does anyone have a guess to the breed of this chicken? I believe its a hen. Its a purebred whatever it is. I got it from purely poultry as a breeders choice.

Canned veggies! I have done it plenty. Peas corn and green beans. The poop when you give them peas is a little weird. but it works fine.

I will be receiving my Happy Homestead package (expected) on the 7th of may. I am curious if anyone else has got this package and what kind of variety they received!
