I have bought from them 2 previous times; but this time, they where all sick. And pretty sure they all came sick. Why? Because I had them with my own hatched ones; and only they died. It was very odd. I was fuming. 1 by one. 125$ down the tube + the price of feed.
And I have been raising eggs...
Where are you ordering from? I
Last batch I bought from Munray hatchery; the chicks all died within 3 months; 25 of them; all slowly; just randomly dead, one after the other. Just randomly stop eating and slowly lethargic and then dead in the morning. 1 by 1!!! It was infuriating.. they where...
I have done dry incubation with auto egg turner with an eBay 12 egg incubator I got for 30$ - no water until lockdown and I have had very high hatch rate. I love it. I set it and forget it.
Dirty butts are a sign of yeast infection. That happened often when feeding Dumor layer feed.
Now I feed my flock “Knock out” a variety of seeds and pellets along with calcium from oyster shells now. I buy it at wild horse track feed supply. Never had dirty butts again; 2 years now.
Don’t really know what to call it; but we all get the point.
My question is; will it fix itself or will she die?
At first I though it was sick; smearing the exit as when they get yeast infection. But I was wrong.
I Don’t know how it could have happened either; all my chicks are very healthy.
Starve them a bit and come to feed them twice a day. In the morning and at night. Squad down with them as they are eating you start by just watching; then touching them as the days go by. Works 100%
Same thing happened to me a while back. 3 years of torture and about 35+ slain birds..
Bought 8 feet fence and all.. after the 4th time the dog jumper over; I went and spoke one last time to the owner. “No; I will not find my dog a new home” I said “ok”
At that moment I knew that was the last...
This worm is alive.. could it be that which killed it? The hen was brooding fine; and was eating fine; no bite marks or any sort of physical damage. In any area. Maybe this worm got to it’s brain?
