    Strong amonia smell in hen house???

    we have a dirt floor so I don't know if this would be any help or not, I usually spread lime with a hand sifter, under the roost about everyother day, and for me that usually takes care of the amonia smell.

    should I be getting more eggs than I am? I don't feel like I am getting enough eggs for the number of hens I have. Even in the summer when they should have been laying more I was only getting about 2-3 doz. I know the weather has alot to do with it but I feel like that isn't many for the number...

    I have a nice RIR hen, she has a real messy back end her comb is floped over, she just stands around does drink a little not eating, she dosen't seem to be egg bound and her crop seems to be ok she isn't coughing or sneezing. any ideas? thanks

    sore roo feet

    I have a very nice Barred Rock Roo, but his feet look there is something wrong. They look like he has worts on his feet the one foot looks like it might be swelled, sometimes he limps, and holds it up alot. Any ideas? Thanks
