    Unfortunately we lost him. ;( he was peeping in the shell. We could hear him. The next day there was no more movement, peeping nothing. After 24 hours of silence we candled him. He was dead. We slowly opened the shell and he was beautiful and completely formed. We don't know what went wrong. ;(

    Egg is on lock down. Has internally piped, not externally. Just noticed that the top is turning gray. Everyone is saying don't touch or open it.... So I don't even know if it is still alive. Should I be concerned about this graying???

    No, nothing external yet... I think I can see the egg move a bit, but I don't know if its my eyes playing tricks on me. Hes on lock down so I can't touch him or anything. We have a video camera set up... so once he hatches I will load the video. :)

    Should there be air going in and out? Because I have it on "lock down" the cooler is closed. I cut out a square in the top and replaced it with a piece of glass so we could see in. Should I have ventilation holes?
