Great!! I just got an internal pip with my ducky, 3 days before normal. I will start recording the hatch when I get an external pip. Good luck with yours!!

The top was turning a really dark color. We opened the incubator and it had a smell to it. I listened to the egg, no peeping like last night, no movement. Candeled it. Nothing. I opened the top part of the shell to peek in and he was gone. and rock hard, and dried out. I don't understand what happened. We were up most of the night watching the humidity and temp. It was 99.0 and 65% to 75%. We didn't touch him, open the incubator nothing.

We could hear him peeping away through the incubator and see movement. I am so upset and heartbroken

I am SO sorry you lost him - and to get all that way with such a rough beginning - my heart is broken FOR you.

If I had ducks, I'd send you eggs free of charge and pay the shipping...alas I don't have ducks. :-(
