    Hello Chicken Friends, Quick question, are their necks supposed to look like this? Most of them have this bulge..?? First time with this breed... just making sure they are normal... even for this alien breed. I know they look funny compared to other chickens but goodness they are ugly cute! 🤣

    Chicken Dead in Coop

    Hello friends, So I came home today to find one of my ladies had suddenly died. No sign of predator or flock abuse. She was my strongest and dominant lady. Anyone have this happen before? Side note.... I have bobwhite quail as well. They are 4 acres a part so no chance of them being at all...

    Help! Aggressive Roo when 7 hens added to flock??

    Thank you everyone for your help! We have 4 acres for the chickens to run around in with different vegetation types. The new hens are very sweet and docile ladies.     The new ones are a mix of breeds. Barred rock, black sex link, red sex link, Rhode Island Red, golden lace, a blue Andalusian, and white leghorn.

    I agree. Like I said he adopted us so I’m not worried about removing him for my ladies. I’ll try on my own this time and hopefully won’t have a strang roo adopt us again.

    We added 6 new one and he has now attacked all of them. He even went after one of the existing hims from my original flock. I think he’s gone mad!
