My mom and I had gotten some eggs for hatching. Only a few formed but none hatched. Many were scrambled. It was very disappointing. Because of the excessive heat I would like to find some in the Phoenix Valley area. Any area is fine. She is on the east side and I am on the west. We would both...
I prefer breeders, even just hobby breeders because I want to support the little guy rather than the bigger hatcheries. I saw the how it's made with the baby chicks and would rather have the chicks made with love. But my RIR is from a hatchery and is much lighter than the show quality ones...

Craigslist has some. And there is a farm and a few feed stores near the temple. But don't listen to the idiot that tells you that scratch grains are chicken feed.
The original owners of my house live next door. They are mean horrible people. The house was a rental before it was mine. It was built in the early 60's and was becoming dilapidated. We remodeled. I don't know what they think, but I don't think they were thrilled when we removed the palm trees...
Well... their feathers seem dry. And they seem a little raggedy. My girls have soft feathers almost like nice fur. These birds have dry brittle feathers.
