i THOUGHT THAT BUT IT SEEMS A BIT DIFFERENT PLUS SHE IS ONLY 11MONTHS OLD AND SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE IS BEING SCRAGGED,IT SEENS TO HAVE DIED DOWN A BIT,IS THERE ANYTHING DEFINITIVE TO LOOK FOR TO CONFIRM ITS MOLT?
THANKS FOR THE REPLY!
One of my girls looks like she is being pecked by the others,no blood but she looks a bit scruffy. They are not overcrowded but arespending more time in the coop due to the shorter day.
She stopped laying for a couple of days but this has now resumed she seems ok but I am a bit concerned...
thanks,i,ve done what you said and segregated the new birds and they seem happy enough to get aquainted through the wire.I,ll give it a week or so and try the next stage, regards.
I want to introduce some new birds this weekend(3 rhode island red hybrids to the resident leghorn crosses) ,any ideas on the best way to do this, thanks
