They are no longer in a brooder. They are about 6 weeks old now and HUGE. BTW, I saw no leg tremors yesterday evening & this morning. It has not been unbearably hot/humid, but a bit cooler for this time of year. No eye/nose discharge. They have access to pools of water for cooling down, bathing...
Hello All:
Well, I gave more BY and the leg tremors disappeared. Now, they are back. And the ducklings are panting or appear to be panting (bills open, breathing rapidly). I am at a loss. I have been giving the BY in a 2:1 ratio with their feed and I put in on their faves like watermelon...
Hello all
:
I have a wonderful update: the leg tremors are gone!! Even on the bigger one that had it the worst. I watched them in the yard all day yesterday and saw nary a tremor. I will continue with the 2:1 ratio of meal to BY and I thank you again for your help.

Hi there:
I am not sure this would work for chickens without some modifications, but at the Bronx Zoo, they hide special treats/food in hollowed out pumpkins for the birdswho had to work for their reward. This is part of their enrichment program. The birds seemed focused on their "tasks". Maybe...
