    I bought it approx. 2 weeks ago 50lb bag and it stays in my house because i dont want the field mice getting in it or giving them more reason to get in my shed The joys of having 35 acres of which 24 is wooded still.

    But they act like they are starving every time i walk out the door they are rushing towards me for food. I Just worry about their well being they are more like pets than a food source. Of course none of them have a name except for the rooster LOL

    My 8 hens an 1 rooster are free range on 3 acres of my 34 acre property they have decided bugs and grass are their main source of food since i put them on layer pellets since it is time for them to be on layer feed. How can i get them to eat the pellets?

    I have 6 chickens, 5 hens 1 rooster all 10 weeks old. They are free range on 35 acres of course they dont travel very far from the coop but they do go in the woods which scares me because they came home with a baby snake the other day i try to discourage this but not sure how to keep them away...
