    I had never experienced a fairy/fart egg 😄 but I recall reading about it however when I saw it, I instantly panic thinking it was the babies! Whew. I'll keep an eye on the older ladies.

    This is a shock to me. I have about 20 chicks of different breeds (Wyandotte, Australorp, Barred Rock, Easter, Olive Eggers). They are all 6-7 weeks old. Today, I walked in to the coop and found this tiny baby egg on the ground. Is it possible for egg laying this early??

    I do not see any irritation, however what is strange is she feels weak and mushy but where her bald spot is between her legs whatever organ that is feels hard. I'm unfamiliar with a baby chick anatomy but feels like round rock.

    They are outside in their coop but in separate areas and heat lamps. We did just have quite the heat wave last week but I don't even have a/c so I just kept providing iced water bottles for a cool down.
