This is a shock to me. I have about 20 chicks of different breeds (Wyandotte, Australorp, Barred Rock, Easter, Olive Eggers). They are all 6-7 weeks old. Today, I walked in to the coop and found this tiny baby egg on the ground. Is it possible for egg laying this early??

I do have two Welsummers and two Barred Rocks. They are all about 1.5yr old. If it was one of them, what could cause such a tiny egg out of nowhere?

Mine lay fairy eggs (tiny) sometimes. It’s no big deal really…. from my experience. A temporary glitch in the system.

I had never experienced a fairy/fart egg 😄 but I recall reading about it however when I saw it, I instantly panic thinking it was the babies! Whew. I'll keep an eye on the older ladies.
