I know, one of them has silver legs, but there's some yellow on them, and the other are true yellow. I thought that was interesting. Yes, I got them from a true breeder so maybe they are just true to size. They dwarf my Easter Eggers, but the EE's are a little younger.
We have the chicken coop Rhode Island Red house in the back from the Chicken Coop Company, and a coop we got on Amazon on the side a long time ago. The run we also bought on Amazon and are expanding it. It’s cute. Will be painting the smaller coop to match the back coop. None of this was built...
We just got these two pullets as Black Wyandottes, about 20 weeks. They are huge. Super friendly. Are these really black Wyandottes and are they always this big?
Hello,
Here’s a few of my flock. They are about 15 weeks old at this point. This one EE has a strange color pattern. Does anyone have one like this? She/he has a black muff. She’s also the smallest of my EE’s currently. Thanks!
I think you’re talking about the Salmon Faverolle, those are really easy to sex as chicks because the cockerels have much darker coloring and it’s really obvious! They do look good with my EEs though. :)
Hello,
It’s been ten years since I’ve last owned chickens. I got these chicks through a local breeder and he’s pretty great. However, I’m struggling with sexing these Easter Eggers, can you help? Thanks!
Hen or Roo? One of my EE’s has a really weird checkered color pattern too. They are around...
One of my hens has injured her leg, she still seems to put weight on it and is able to get around minimally. Should I just let it be for a few days and see how it goes or cull her? I don't want her to suffer, and I am not wasting money by taking her to the vet. Thanks for your advice in advance...
