So far i have 3 black and 3 yellow chicks from a Delaware M with a olive egger( maron x cream leg bar) F. Whats going on here? Is this a sexlink thing or just the olive egger expressing different genes in her offspring ?
I have a Delaware rooster and and RIR hen . Ive heard the offspring will look delaware. Is that true no matter the sex of the chicks?
Also i have chicks using same rooster with a buff orphington, a production blue( blue australorp/RIR) a sexlink maron, and a ameraucana. Will any of those...
Yes fresh, no more than a week old. And also yes to refrigerated. Only some of the eggs do it. I havent paid attention to if its isolated to a particular her tho
This is our maron sexlink hen. Lana. She hatched 2 if her own but there not in the pic. Cant wait to see how they end up....Delaware rooster crossed with maron hen 🤷♂️
I do have RIR, i think at least one of the chicks is hers. Will both male and female look delawares then? The other yellow/ white could be crossed with our buff orphinton
So im getting some eggs that as soon as u crack the egg into the pan the yolks break and are really runny. They dont taste odd or anything tho. What could be the issue? Ive never seen this before
