She's doing all of the above I will put her back in with the others. Yes I use shell grit with my chickens they always have a supply which was one of the reasons i was surprised that she didn't have a formed egg.
No her tissue is not exposed anymore and she has gone back to her usual chirpy self. But I'm still keeping an eye on her at the moment just to monitor her. :thumbsup
@Wyorp Rock you were right it was an unformed egg that had got stuck inside her. Thanks for your help, I will keep her in tonight just to keep an eye on her.
Thanks for your help @Wyorp Rock she's only been like it for the past hour or two it's now dark where I am and the other hens arent bothered by her. So do you think it's worth leaving until the morning or shall I bring her in and keep an eye on her?
My hens have been fine all day but I went to check on them just now and noticed one of the hens has a prolapsed vent. What is the best remedy for this?
That's a great idea. Good thinking on your friends behalf for the repair room to have its own section.
I would have it sectioned so that my side was seperate from theirs anyway as I wouldn't want them getting into my supplies.
It's a detached garage thats a fair size and it's at the back of my garden away from the house. I was thinking of sectioning it off so there is room for me to keep my chickens and also use it as a bit of a man cave (keeping my tools and DIY gear).
Hi everyone.
Has anyone on here ever transformed their garages into a coop for their chickens?
If so could you help me out with ideas and possible plans.
Thanks in advance.
