    A couple of my hens have been sitting on eggs. They started hatching last night. I'm planning to let them raise them themselves. What do I need to provide for feed for the new chicks? I did this before, but it's been about 20 years and I don't remember what I did.

    One of my EE's got out of the pen about a week after I got her. She was about 6 months old. She flew about 50 yards and ended up about 25 feet high in a large tree. Was no problem for her.

    Gave mine some banana, biscuits and bread scraps, and big mess of leaves to rumage through. They had a ball.

    Wow, tough choice. They're both beautiful. #2 is more unusual to me, so probably that one. Or maybe the one with the best disposition.

    Yesterday mine got some macaroni and this morning it was a plate of warm grits. They love them both.

    Riverpie, After looking at a lot of photos, I think yours is a gold duckwing american game rooster.
