If your baby is making noise still I would help him out. I had a chick that was stuck in his egg for a long time because his legs were messed up. (Needless to say he died because of his condition). This may be a problem with your baby so you might open the egg a little bit and see if that helps...
So in my first hatch, I put in 36 eggs. Only one hatched but he had problems hatching and I had to help him out of the shell, he died soon after that (something was wrong with his legs). I was wondering if anybody had any luck with misting their eggs to help soften the shells to make it easier...

I just put my eggs in the incubator about an hour ago. My question is- How long do the eggs stay fertile ( like days/weeks)? I know my eggs are about 2-3 weeks old because I was waiting on my incubator to arrive and to get adjusted and stuff. I dont want to put them in and then be dissapointed...
