Lost 1 pullet to (maybe?) Coccidiosis, is her sister dying too?

We're heading out to dinner and assuming things are more or less well for now. Thank you for all your advice and reassurances! I really appreciate the helpful words.

Lost 1 pullet to (maybe?) Coccidiosis, is her sister dying too?

Oh, and as for location - we're in Colorado and hawks fly overhead constantly all day long, they'd get eaten up if we let them out beyond the run! I want to build them a big one.

Lost 1 pullet to (maybe?) Coccidiosis, is her sister dying too?

Good to know. *sigh*...guess we have to chalk this one up to a learning experience. How old should chicks be before they can be around older ones? Or is this possibly more about them being from different flocks? Thanks for the coop size recommendations, we'll have to figure out something that...

Lost 1 pullet to (maybe?) Coccidiosis, is her sister dying too?

I've been wondering if it's a little small. The coop info says it can house 10...! Which seemed true when I knew nothing about chickens, and now that I've seen how big they get I'm kind of shocked by it. I might build them something else as they grow.

The coop does look like that, but it actually does have more ventilation - two much bigger vents - on the back.

We just checked, no lice to be seen. Just a big bald spot. Couldn't get a good picture of it but probably from where Ruth has pecked Clementine.

Oh wow I had no idea lice were that small! How dangerous are lice? It's getting dark here, can I check her (him?) in the morning?

Lost 1 pullet to (maybe?) Coccidiosis, is her sister dying too?

Oh no. I was afraid it might be a boy...hopefully not but I guess we'll see! How old do they have to be before we know? It's definitely possible she could have been pecked to death. She didn't have any obvious injuries that I could see, and she definitely didn't look as scraggledy as Clementine...

Lost 1 pullet to (maybe?) Coccidiosis, is her sister dying too?

Yes the one that passed was one of the younger chicks. She and Clementine were always running around together.

Here's a poorly lit picture of her standing in the coop, then a few more from her standing on top.

And we will continue the Corid, thanks @KikisGirls for the advice!

The yellow was definitely feed. When we went out to get pictures just now she didn't have it on her beak anymore. :) We grabbed a couple of pictures, I will post them in a minute.

Our questions about the pictures: - is she too scaly on her comb?? - is she too red / pink? - is the yellow just from feed? Basically we've had her such a short time that it's really hard to tell! I keep wondering what happened to Mabel now.

Lost 1 pullet to (maybe?) Coccidiosis, is her sister dying too?

Yes Ruth kept pecking at both the little ones! We're not really sure what the bald spot is...Clementine just seemed more raggedy than usual today and I'm also feeling very paranoid. I haven't seen any evidence of worms in the poop. We spent a half hour this morning thoroughly cleaning all the...
