Lost 1 pullet to (maybe?) Coccidiosis, is her sister dying too?

Is this what your coop looks like?
Is the tiny vent on the front the only ventilation on this coop?

The coop does look like that, but it actually does have more ventilation - two much bigger vents - on the back.
OK great. I didn't/couldn't see the back ones and that front one is just not going to be enough.

It is very small to be housing 3 grown birds in though maybe you can add on to it?

I've been wondering if it's a little small. The coop info says it can house 10...! Which seemed true when I knew nothing about chickens, and now that I've seen how big they get I'm kind of shocked by it. I might build them something else as they grow.

10!!! I laughed out loud...not at you at the idiots who wrote that on the coop box.

No way it can house ten.
I am not sure where you are located but if at any time you aren't able to let your chickens out due to what ever reasons (weather/predators) their coop should be at the very least 4 square feet PER bird and the run 10 sq. ft. per bird.

Bigger is better.

I'm thinking the four were already cramped in there and that maybe one of the older ones pecked the new one to death.

Good to know. *sigh*...guess we have to chalk this one up to a learning experience.

How old should chicks be before they can be around older ones? Or is this possibly more about them being from different flocks?

Thanks for the coop size recommendations, we'll have to figure out something that makes sense for us! We do have the space at least.

Hoping Clementine makes it through the night, we'll see I guess.
