I even picked them out. The guy had three brooders with about 100 chicks in each. All straight run. I remember thinking, man it's REALLY hard to pick the pullets out of this box. Very young cockerel mating with hens
We've only seen it just after they retire to the coop in the evening. The hen he goes after is game so she's small. She just squats for him!- OldMcDnld

These are my "outside" chicks, 4 weeks Obviously the last two pics are roos but what about the first pic? Same feathering as the two black pullets but exhibits a male personality from time to time. Also, the only one with ten toes- OldMcDnld

The feathers coming in on sides of the chest on this one are the same color as the wings. Does that mean pullet?- OldMcDnld
