    Anconas mating at 14 weeks

I hatched 6 anconas March 1st and they are mating at 14 weeks! Isn’t that a bit early? Should I expect eggs this early? I know I have one drake but suspect a second one as there is another duck that is bigger than the rest but it doesnt have the curl on its tail yet.

    Jersey Giant with flock?

Would it hurt to put a Jersey Giant rooster with my flock of light brama's, australorps and rhode Island Reds? He is huge so I'm worried he's too big for my girls. I also got a Milles-Fleur D'Uccle bantam, can she go in with them all or should I keep her separated?

Looking for chickens near south central KY or northern TN

We are just getting our flock going and am going to be needing chickens. I don't know much as far as different breeds but we'd like layers as well as meat. We moved near Burkesville and aren't familiar with the area so we don't know where to go to get some.

HI All! We're moving to Burkesville in a couple of weks. We bought a small rural home and plan on having chickens and gardens. I'm still researching what types of chickens as we want them for eggs. We'll also have a couple of geese for the "Teradactyl" eggs (the flintstones) hehehe! Great...
