    I have 4 amerucana chicks that are about 3 wks old. Today one started to rub itself on the floor of the brooder, burying itself in the wood chips. It rolls on it's side and kind of scoots along. It doens't do this all the time. It seems healthy, it's eating drinking and walking around normal...

    I live in N. California and figured if was going to have chickens again (use to have mini's) I wanted them to be something unique; why not? My aunt has had Ameraucana chickens (and every other kind), and a close friend of mine had an awesome hen. Happy to have such beautiful birds!!!!
