I'm actually up to 5 hatched, one with a strong external pip. I actually have the SAME hatch percentage of my last hatch at this point. My last hatch was 50-60% humidity the first 18 then to 70%. Same supplier. I'm super happy that I've been this lucky.
I'll raise you a forgot to take the...

Going for my third hatch, 9/41,11/45... All eggs were shipped. Hovabator Genesis with turner. I plan I doing a dry hatch completely until 18 days then keep 65% ish?
How long should I let these eggs sit before putting them in the bator? I've been letting them sit 15-36 hours with the others and...
Are the eggs usually very small? I received some hatching eggs last week and they are small, barely larger than guinea eggs. Is this typical? There is one in the group that it slightly larger but the rest are tiny.
My last hatch (first in several years) was staggered over about 5 days, ironically the last put in the incubator had the best hatch percentage. I was encouraged by others to just do it. I have eggs going in the same way this time, hoping for a better result (new genesis bator)
Good luck!
Whoops- I thought I posted this under the Svart Hona breed thread. They are Svart Hona, I've seen several ads for eggs of these type birds crossed with other breeds-most of which are definitely bigger than these.
I ebayed some eggs and they are TINY!!! Barely bigger than my Mom's bantams. Is that common? one of them is possibly a medium egg size the the others are all small. Is this why I see them crossed?
I'm excited to see what we get!
And start thinking a Sportsmen is a good idea..
Can I put eggs between the rows of my auto turner in a styrobator (brand new genesis, using my old turner)
Looking for some Pumpkin Hulsey and golden laced wyandotte eggs to add to my incubator. I plan on setting them ASAP or they will go in our next hatch if I can't find any. I'm in WV
Thank You!
