Morning….can anyone tell me what these white growths are on my quail’s beak? She is 3 1/2 yrs old & lives indoors alone so I don’t believe it could be something she’s caught. So, an update to this....I ended up separating them, dividing the cage in 1/2 & that seemed to go ok. Got them both out every day for a flap & peck about. Coco still the spazzy one but that’s just the way she is. BUT .... have just been away on a weeks holiday. Had a neighbour calling in daily...

Hi.....can anyone tell me if this is a normal amount of feathers to lose overnight for a moulting quail? She has also not laid for a week. She shares a 10’ x 2’ cage with 1 other female, so plenty of room. I don’t think they’ve been fighting, and all the feathers are definitely from the one...

Hi- one of my girls has a couple of little poo toeballs....only small (about 1/4cm) . What’s the best way to remove them? I’m thinking soaking in warm water, but that would take at least 10 mins, & I’m not sure I could keep her still for that long!!! Any advice? Do they ever just fall off...

Thank you, yes that single photo is Oey. Coco is dark brown all over but the eggs give it away with her! Will definitely be putting more enrichment in for them & hidey places.
